Sometimes you get the luxury in life to have everything fall at your feet. Not many people get to experience that, heck, I never have. But, it happens. For the ones like myself that don’t have that luxury, we are always wondering when will we ever catch that break. So you know, those who just sit there waiting will continue to wait. 

I’m not here today to tell you that only those who work hard will receive their blessings. Hell, I’ve seen people be blessed and I’m green with envy because I can’t understand how its not me but its them. And, yes, if you just read that sentence I did admit that I judge people. I’m human. For all of you who say you don’t judge people, well don’t be quick to judge me and pretend that you don’t judge. You wanna do that then leave. You judge. Stop pretending. Stop pretending that you’re perfect and only your opinions matter. Because, they don’t. Everyone matters. Everyone’s feelings. Everyone’s opinions. Everyone’s actions. They. All. Matter.

I’m here today to tell you that those who give everything they have – even if it isn’t much of anything – will be blessed. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But, I just want you to know that slow and steady wins the race. You may be feeling trapped, your wings clipped because of past actions, but I’m telling you that when you heal your wings will allow you to take flight to places you never dreamt you’d reach. Keep going forward. Keep pushing. Most of all, you do you love. Be true to yourself, keep taking the step forward and I promise you, whatever waits for you at the end of the race will be reached, gathered, and cherished more deeply then had you reached the end errantly. What you’re doing now it matters. You matter. I promise.
